This is me…Risë (pronounced Reesa) Singer and along with having an unusual name, I also have a great memory! Therefore, I can remember what it was like to be a child (and teenager) even though I’m now a grandma. When I was a child, I felt very alone and misunderstood most of the time, so I found comfort when I spent quality time with my friend Chester Drawers, believing him to be MUCH more than a piece of furniture. I consider myself to be creative and imaginative and very concerned about how we humans treat each other. So, I have written a ten-book series, describing how Chester feels about cheating and lying, dealing with a blended family, moving and friendship, belonging, sharing, divorce, and more.

"This book is jam-packed with the kind of practical wisdom that can only be learned on the front lines — the kind I like to read (short but impactful) and I hope you will, too. This definitely proved to be quite insightful and helped me a great deal in understanding and dealing with bullying."
